DakhaBrakha performs a transnational sound rooted in Ukrainian culture, accompanied by Indian, Arabic, African, Russian, and Australian traditional instrumentation. They call themselves an “ethno-chaos” band, creating a world of unexpected new music, combining drums, accordions, cello, didjeridoo, and vocals into a sound steeped in Ukrainian roots music, yet modern.
