Washington Performing Arts will present DakhaBrakha performing Eastern European roots music at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue in DC on Thursday, April 2. They are said to "have one foot in Ukrainian village culture......as they craft stunning new sonic worlds for traditional songs, reinventing their heritage with a keen ear for contemporary resonances."
