Straight from Kiev, it’s DakhaBrakha: a “punk-folk-circus-rock” band that performs punk pop music with distinctive Balkan harmonies. Taking their name from the Ukrainian for “give” and “take,” the four-piece does both on stage, with a presence that reflects their origins as the offshoots of an underground theater troupe.
